Welcome
The SustaInvest Student Management Committee is pleased to announce the
commencement of the 2007-08 SustaInvest: The Sustainable Investment Challenge.
SustaInvest is a virtual portfolio competition that calls for its student
participants to jointly maximize profitability and sustainability in investment
decisions. All students, from amateur investors who have never before
placed a trade to sophisticated investors, should use SustaInvest as an
educational tool to experiment with and analyze sustainability-driven
investment strategies.
SustaInvest is comprised of three separate competitions: a group entity competition for university student teams (Group of three or more players), a competition for Undergraduate individuals, and a competition for Graduate individuals.
Portfolio judging criteria rewards successful, sustainability-driven investment
to promote a long-term, triple bottom line business strategy as the means
to increasing investors' financial bottom line. SustaInvest will reward
the winners of the group and individual competitions with both a monetary
prize and a trip to visit the offices of Lehman Brothers in New York City.
Please register here for this year’s
Challenge by Friday, February 15, 2008.
Best of luck, The SustaInvest Student Management Committee
SustaInvest represents a partnership between the Mutual Investment
Club of Cornell and Cornell’s Sustainable Enterprise Association, A Net
